The Central High School Alumni Association has donated teddy bears to be given to Lunch Club members at the December 14 lunch at the Elks Lodge, 3535 McKinley Avenue, South Bend. Doors will open at 11 a.m. for socializing, and the meal will be served at noon. The menu will feature ham, scalloped potatoes and green beans. An alternate entree of tilapia will be offered, but it must be ordered in advance. Dessert will be creme de menthe with ice cream.
A jazz ensemble from Adams High School, directed by Steffani Ronfeldt, will entertain.
Cost of the lunch is $12 for SBAA members, $14 for non-members, and half price for first-time attendees.
To reserve your spot, call (574) 393-6004 or click on the tab below. A table can be reserved if you have a minimum of eight people. Deadline for reservations is Tuesday, December 12. You can cancel your reservation by noon on December 13 without penalty.

Liz Farr, Central ’70, brought a balloon to the November lunch for the birthday of John Charles Bryant, Central ’57, who will be celebrating his 80th birthday on November 26. Two other Lunch Club members at their table — Chuck Shock and Barbara Humnicky, also have November birthdays.
