Support the SBEA
There are many ways to support our work and make a lasting impact on students and educators in our community. You can engage through events, invest in our mission with annual support, explore opportunities like naming rights or endowments, partner with us as a business, or give your time through volunteering and advocacy.
Annual Support Events
Great Friends of Schools Breakfast
Now presented by the South Bend Education Alliance, the Great Friends of Schools Breakfast brings together community members, educators, and school leaders to celebrate the great work happening across the South Bend Community School Corporation.
This annual event offers a unique opportunity to hear directly from teachers and administrators about innovative programs, meaningful classroom experiences, and the impact of community support in our schools. Guests will also hear from Superintendent Mansour Eid and join us in recognizing and honoring grant recipients whose work is expanding opportunities for students across the district.
South Bend Community Hall of Fame Awards & Banquet
In the spirit of the mission of the South Bend Education Alliance, the South Bend Community Hall of Fame has spent over 35 years highlighting those who model dedicated lives of service and civic-mindedness in our local community.
The Hall of Fame inductees are exemplary leaders in five categories: Arts, Athletics, Business and Industry, Education, Public/Community/Government Services, and Science and Technology. Each fall, we celebrate a new class of inductees at the annual Hall of Fame banquet, now one of the signature events for the South Bend Education Alliance. Nominations are welcome at any time of year, or visit the Hall of Fame webpage to get involved.

Naming Rights
The South Bend Education Foundation, in partnership with South Bend Community School Corporation (SBCSC) offers select naming rights opportunities to fund vital programs and build our endowment.
Business Partnerships
Become a Business Partner by committing to an annual gift of $5,000 or more per year for five years. The Business Partner Program provides support for the South Bend Education Foundation general fund, which includes a variety of efforts each year that directly support teachers and students.
Endowments
We are so thankful for those that have created and donated to our teacher grant endowments. With their help, we have improved classroom experiences for our students and their teachers. Thank you for your support!
