We are excited to announce the launch of Apparel Funding, a new initiative to support the apparel needs of our schools’ invaluable extracurricular programs.

Club & Team Apparel

Through Apparel Funding, school clubs and teams focused on activities from chess to robotics to debate can apply for financial assistance to purchase customized t-shirts, sweatshirts, and other apparel items for their student members.

As many school districts face budget limitations, Apparel Funding aims to fill crucial gaps by ensuring that finances do not stand in the way of student groups obtaining unifying team apparel. With school logo-bearing apparel facilitating a greater sense of belonging and pride, Apparel Funding will empower more of our clubs, academic teams, sports teams, and other extracurricular groups to outfit their hardworking members.

We hope this initiative spreads school spirit while giving more students access to the apparel that makes them feel part of a team.

The Process

Fill Out Application

To apply you will need:

  • Apparel Funding Signature Page
  • A proposed design that includes the SBAA logo
  • A proposed budget/quote for materials to be purchased.

    Awards Assigned

    The Apparel Funding grants will be awarded monthly (except July).

    Funds Dispersed

    All applicants from that month will be notified of the decision, and funds will be dispersed in the month the decision is made.

    Apparel Funding Completion Form

    Once the funds have been used and the apparel received, grant awardees must fill out the Apparel Funding Completion Form. Failure to complete will result in that club/activity being disqualified from future awards.
