AEP Foundation Elementary Field Trip Fund
The AEP Foundation has generously funded an exciting new effort – the Elementary Field Trip Fund – that will make imagination-expanding learning experiences more accessible for local students.
AEP Foundation Field Trip Fund Policies & Application
- Because of financial limitations as we launch this program, for the remainder of the 2023-2024 School Year, each elementary school will be limited to $1,000 total in field trip assistance. As the end of the school year approaches, we have waived the per-school funding limit.
- This might be given for one trip or several smaller ones.
- Field trips with an academic purpose will be given priority over other trips, but any kind of field trips will be considered.
- Field trips must occur during the school day.
- The grant provided must go toward admission or transportation expenses for the field trip.
- The grant must benefit the entire group attending the field trip, not select students.
After the field trip, recipients must provide a Grant Completion report, which will include:
- Number of students
- Receipts for grant funds used
- Clear photos of students on the field trip
- Feedback on the field trip and its impact on students and educational goal achieved
